Luckily, the courtyard of my condo complex has had a hummer nest 2 of the 4 years I've been here...(that I was aware of)...there's also a dove that nests in a hanging planter right outside a neighbor's door...LOL

Oddly, the hummers nest just 4-6 feet off the ground!?!?!

I don't think the chicks are fed much nectar...mostly bugs.

It's very interesting but it's not unique and it's been making the rounds for five years now. I must have gotten 2 dozen emails about it from friends and family and seen it a dozen or more times on forums including this one.
