My Guests Are Leaving

Such a change this past week! Most have moved on, but I still have maybe 6-10 at the feeders, though it's difficult to tell. We've had some unusually cool and windy weather, but yesterday was warm and very humid. I'll take down most of the feeders in a few days, but will leave 3 of them up.

My hankie is ready for the final departure, sniff, sniff...

Truly sorry to hear they are starting to leave all you can really do is enjoy them while you have them and wish them well. As for me it appears fluffy has moved on after spending a week here. I had a young female pass thru yesterday and she only used my flowers , if it wasnt for having the plants I wouldnt of had that visitor. So far the lows are staying above 40 at night and that does help. So if you want to shed a tear Im right there with you.

Steve, I know you will miss Fluffy, but it was time for both of you to "let go"!! LOL!

October always brings mixed emotions for sure as I know the season is coming to an end. As always, it's been wonderful to have them and I too, wish them well.
