Rufous in Pennsylvania?

Three years ago, I was lucky enough to have a juvenile male rufous visit my garden around Halloween (positive ID by bander). I appear to have another Western visitor today! Her/His personality is pure Western hummingbird - flies right up to look at me, chipping all the time.

I'm very excited! Years of collecting hummingbird plants has paid off :)

nice shot! Hummingbird plants def. paid off. He was probably telling you to plant more hummer plants when he was chipping at you!
