Hi Fluffy! Hope you have a nice winter relaxing in the warmth and sunshine.

OOPS ! Fluffy is still here saw him late this evening at my rear feeder.

Fluffy is still here just saw him at the rear feeder. Its windy cold here right now 49°. He's spending these cold nights we are having here, when he could go further south where it would be somewhat warmer. He's certainly fit and ready for travel Im just amazed that he doesnt move on.

All of us down this way will keep an eye out for Fluffy. I have a few feeding at the David 'verity' this morning.

I know he will be well cared for when he gets there. He just continues to surprise me. I have a 6ft slider and even though I move around in the kitchen and he at the feeder is not easily spooked, in fact with the blind wide open and me standing a foot from the slider he came in landed on the feeder and continued to feed, so I just stood there and watched him from close range for a bit, then he did move to the vine support. I will miss this bird when he leaves. He even came to my pc window and fluttered along the window looking in at me, this bird is beginning to spook me a bit.

Fluffy is still here and seems quite content so much so that he appears asleep on the feeder.

I have one here in illinois right now. She won't leave. it's 46 this morning, only the 50s today.

I'm watching her right now at one of the feeders. . .I keep telling her FOLLOW THOSE GEESE. . .she won't leave. . .the doves haven't left either. . .

I have to go make another batch of food for her. . .if sh'es gonja hang here for a while. . .I wish she wouldn't.

Nothing would make me happier if she bugged out and headed for warmer weather. . . .its time for her to go. . .I'm concerned she's still here. . .

Same temps here as at your place, but theres no real reason to be concerned yet. Last year I had hummers here till Oct 18th. If your hummer is still around in Nov. that could be reason for concern. Usually the only reason they dont leave when they rest do is because they are ill or they arent plumped up enough to head south. So dont panic yet its still early.
