This is good news. I had a bunch of hummers just a couple of days ago. Today I only saw 2. Here in NW GA the temps are cooler than normal for this time of year (40's this a.m.). I look forward to having more here.

I maintain a feeder year round. I would love to have your hummers stop by and refuel!

I've left 2 up and so far, there are about 2, possibly 3 left. They feed most frequently around dusk.

My little female is still here in Northern IL, she always stays until mid to late Oct. The male leaves Labor Day every year like clock work. I think she loves it when he is gone. He is not chasing her away from all the flowers and the feeders. She loves her alone time! Today I saw 2 out there. Was the other one one of her young or a migrating one? I never take my feeders down until Nov sometime. I will not take a chance of a migrating one stopping by and not finding something to eat. One year I took the feeders down thinking they were gone and it was very cold. I think it was Nov and I was outside and to my surprise there was a little hummer buzzing around the last of the flowers. I hurried up and got out a feeder. She was here a few more days and then left. They know when to leave, so don't ever think taking a feeder down will make them leave. It doesn't, and remember the migrating hummers.
