Just watched the slightly plump lady feed on the flowers in the yard and occasionally the feeder. I think this is the latest I have had one here in SE Michigan. Had two here last weekend---now just the one.

Wow, that is amazing! Send her my way when it's time to go! My feeders are up! We still haven't seen one since Sept 29. Last year we had them through about Oct 20.

About an hour after I posted, I saw one - from the back so couldn't tell if it was male or female, but looked quite large. SO excited - put all new fresh nectar out, and just now saw another one - a small young male at our feeder just outside our kitchen sink window.

I left my feeders full when I left for a 4 day trip this past weekend. One has definitely been visited here in southwest VA. I am hoping to get another glimpse before the long winter absence. I have hope after reading the above posts from TN.
