Pleasant surprise

I was sitting outside in my garden around 7:15 tonight, just enjoting the last light of day and the growing sound of crickets and toads and I got a huge surprise...I was dive-bombed by a hummer! I hadn't seen one in over 3 weeks. I hope it is going to hand around for a while. I had left 1 feeder up in that garden and was sitting between 2 tabletop torches and wearing a red shirt. Guess he/she (little to dark to make an id, assume ruby throat) I looked pretty tasty :)

RE: Pleasant surprise

Lovely way to end the day, listening to crickets and toads. And even better when you're divebombed by a hummer!

Since you're 9a, I hope you do keep him around for a while.

RE: Pleasant surprise

I hope he stays too. I'm going to have time tomorrow to enjoy the garden, hope I see him again :)
