| I still have a little female hummer eating at a feeder on my deck. (SW Indiana - Newburgh.) I'm hoping that she will head south soon. So, you guys in Nashville and points south ..... PLEASE, keep your feeders out for her. She will be hungry. |

| Spartanburg SC Just saw a rust colored HB at the feeder. 12/6/2009. I have never seen one this color and would like to ID if anyone knows what it is. |

| Lucky you. It is either a rufous or allen's hummer. It can be difficult to tell. If it is a male with an all brown back(no green) it is definitely a rufous. |
