Since fall is for planting I picked up crested iris and dutchman's iris from Lowes. They both attract hummers and these are new plants for me. Does anyone have any tips for growing these native wildflowers? Please help. Thanks.

I'm not sure ctnchpr because on the box it says crested iris. Before I threw it away I'm pretty sure it said iris cristata though.

The roots are very shallow; you'll need shade, leaf mold, and sandy soil.
