Lilies and dominate/recessive colours....

| Love reading these posts on hybridizing, makes my head swim but it IS interesting!
I have been reading about hybridizing lilies, and can so far only find that orange is the dominant colour/yellow is recessive. What about the other colours? What about white? Would love to find out more. Thanks! Sherrie |

| usually the lighter color is recessive. |

| From what I've seen, it's usually red over yellow over white, but then that's a generalization. There are genes that also control mixture (partial recessive or dominant) and zonation. |
