 o
Lilies and dominate/recessive colours....

Love reading these posts on hybridizing, makes my head swim but it IS interesting!

I have been reading about hybridizing lilies, and can so far only find that orange is the dominant colour/yellow is recessive. What about the other colours? What about white? Would love to find out more. Thanks! Sherrie

usually the lighter color is recessive.

From what I've seen, it's usually red over yellow over white, but then that's a generalization. There are genes that also control mixture (partial recessive or dominant) and zonation.
