| Has anyone crossed the largest strain of pomellos with kumquats ? What was the result ? What crossbreeds have you done in citrus ? what can be done? what will be done? |

| Many interspecific (tangelo) and even intergeneric (citrange) crosses exist in the citrus group. One of the difficulties is that many seeds are not really seeds in a true sense, but contain apomictic (non fertilization derived) embryos and produce exact replicas of the seed parent. Try a google search and you will get thousands of hits about these. George |
