| I sure hope you have some other way of graduating. There are several very dark red roses that sometimes appear black or brushed with black: Oklahoma, Inkspots, Black Ice, Black Jade, Lavaglut and Kuroshinju. A truly black rose is not impossible -- there are black pansies and tulips -- but it would take a very concentrated effort, lots of room for growing seedlings, and probably many years.
