Gesneriad and African Violet Hybridizing

| Does anyone here hybridize African Violet or Gesneriads?
I am getting ready to start some Eucodonia crossing.
And I have experimented with x-raying seeds.

| I have done many crosses involving African Violets, such as crossing minis to regular size, etc. But since Eucodonia is already a cross, it may be sterile, but maybe worth the try. I hope you post again to tell the results. As to my results hybridizing African Violets, it is my rule that if no resulting cross is as good as, or better than the parents,they get deep- sixed. (When my wife isn't around) |
