Hybridizing daylilies

Hi,

I have a simple question about hybridizing. When crossing daylilies, what name is listed first? Is it the pollen parent or the mother plant? I can't find my daylily book with the easy answer. Thanks
John

RE: Hybridizing daylilies

The standard is to write the seed parent first: mother x father.
