is there a database for things you want to hybridize??

i have a friend that wants to check them out, not sure what they are but she's wanting to know, i "tried" to check, but i'm kinda lost on that stuff!! LOL and i guess i wanta know to, someday i'd like to do a plant for my daughter, and name it talla, tabor has one with his name in it, talla doesn't not that i can find. LOL any help?? Please :'))

I don't think there is one list of available variety names for plants. For example, this USDA page has a couple of zipped files you can download and unzip that have partial lists of vegetable varieties and agricultural varieties. To look for flowers or something else you would have to look elsewhere.

You could try looking in some of the Plant Patent Databases.
