| hi, this plant has one stem that is green instead of redish and is about six inches long and has no thorns i also noticed that it had a layer of sepals at the base of the stem that looked a bit like leaves and the leaves are lighter so the flower will be interesting .do these sports bud off the same as the sport or revert or auto correct them selves.thanks kevin. |

| Are you sure it isn't a stem coming from the root stock instead of above the graft? |

hi sparaxis it is a shoot from the top , the new spring growth so i hope it buds off the same . actually i have a number of different types of roses all budded on to the rootstock plant different heights. i am getting a video card with tv in in so i might be able to post a picture from the video camera if the quality is ok. it looks like the plant couldnt decide wether to get a flower or a shoot so it tried both. it is 4ft off the ground. |

| hi i put a couple of pics in the test forum but the quality of the pics isnt up to scratch you will see that the flower seems to have two centres .double delights and granadas seem to do this a fair bit. i have another that has gone double from the stem also about to flower. if i didnt know i would think dd and granada are related via sporting rather than cross polination. kevin. |
