RE: rose chimera

Charles Darwin wrote about a genuine rose chimera that came about after the Tea rose 'Devoniensis' was grafted to Rosa banksiae.

More recently I learned of a chimera of an orange-flowered Dwarf Polyantha and Rosa canina. It's said to be similar to R. canina, but with scarlet flowers. I'm still waiting to see pictures of it.

it is actually a chimera of candy stripe and mr lincon and the amount of colour varies and where mr lincon expresses itself varies also. and it also threw a flower that is darker all over and one that was mr lincon colour but with light pink stripes instead of white.
