Variegated ... Rye?

| I noticed this plant in my yard. I think it is an annual rye ... it grows everywhere and couldn't be more common, except this one plant is variegated which seems to be very uncommon. Does anyone have any thoughts about whether or not this is worth propagating? It's rather attractive.

| Sorry, I potted up a bit of it but it died. I got some seeds first but they aren't sprouting. Maybe it'll reappear in the spring. |
