Hibridizing Mints

Does anyone have info on hibridizing mints. I know selective breeding is easier, but I would like to try cross-pollinating different mint varieties. Also, are any of the mint hibirds sterile?

RE: Hibridizing Mints

i have heard that if your mints are planted close to one another that they will all cross-pollinate and you will end up with mints that are not what you started with (aka chocolate mint will be another scent and so on)
therefore I would think that most all mint varieties can cross pollinate.

I'm sure that they can cross-pollinate, but how do I do it? Mint flowers are very small.
Thanks,
Josh
