Last year I grew a batch of Cushaw and Futsu squash in close proximity and collected seeds from both. This year one of my Futsu plants from the collected seeds are growing huge round green and white squash on them. The green and white color matches that of the Cushaw. The general shape matches that of the Futsu but much larger. Can someone explain the probabilities of this being a cross?
