Salvia crosses

Anyone have experience with crossing salvias?
I'm interested in crossing:

salvia involucrata "bethellii"
salvia guaranitica (Argentine skies, omaha)
salvia cacaelifolia
salvia moorcroftiana
salvia blephoraphylla
salvia omiensis

You may want to post something at the gardenweb salvia forum or the yahoo salvia group. There are folks at the latter that have done some salvia hybrid work.

I've done some crosses, and can say that you can only cross New World sages with one another, ditto with Old World sages. Compatibility is the issue, and relevant factors are chromosome number, self-incompatibility, growing conditions, and other pollinators.
