Rose or Iris Deaf Hybridizer

I am an architecture student designing a courtyard for the Indiana School for the Deaf. When considering plants, I thought of cultivars whose hybridizers were deaf themselves, giving more meaning and unity to the place.
I really don't know where to look for one, so I thought I'd ask...

I would appreciate any information

Thanks
Chris

RE: Rose or Iris Deaf Hybridizer

You could try looking at the American Iris Society as well as the American Rose Society. I'm sure they would be able to help. They both have good websites as well as contact information. Hope this helps.
