Verbascum crossing

I am interested in trying the above this year and wondered if it was the same process as with delphiniums. Is it easy to cross different verbascums with one another or does the chromosome aspect come into play again ?(anyone able to provide any information from a copy of the chromosome atlas of flowering plants by any chance ?!!)

many thanks

Richard

Don't know if this is what you are looking for but Missouri Botanical Gardens has a database of chromosome numbers

Here is a link that might be useful: Missouri Botanical Gardens Chromosome Database
