Please help me identify this beauty

I moved into a new home and this beautiful variegated hydrangea was happily doing it's thing in the backyard. I haven't seen one like this before. Anyone know what they are called? I have already taken two cuttings off of it (I've only been here 2 months) and eventually, I plan to give them to all of my gardening friends. I would like to tell them what kind of hydrangea it is.
Thanks for any information!

I believe the proper name is Hydrangea macrophylla 'Variegata'

Hi,
If you need another gardening friend, I'd love to volunteer!!
Haven't seen one this pretty in a while. If you cut it back and are willing, I'd love to trade cuttings with you.
Maybe later in the spring...

I have always seen this labeled as "tricolor" variegated hydrangea. I have killed two of them. It breaks my heart, as it is one of my favorites.

It is "Mariesii Variegata." I have one that I hope to photograph soon. Check out the link below for an earlier photo.
