Bareroot Annanelle Hydrangeas

I was just at Meijer and picked up three Annabelle Hydrageas. They are bareroot by DeGroot so not sure if they were a good buy or not. They don't look like they've budded out yet (I see a bit of green on one of them). Should I store them in the garage until the ground thaws?

Yeah, I would pot them until things warm up a bit more, say, until after your average date of last frost in Spring. More or less. They are very hardy but very nice plants!
