Planting Hydrangea root

Lowes in my area is selling PG and Nikko blue roots. The roots are inside the store at about 70 degrees F. Some of the roots are already starting to grow leaves.

Can I buy them now and plant immediately outside or should I wait until danger of frost has past to plant them outside? Right now temperatures are around 50 during the day and 30 at night.

Thanks
