My suggestion would be to take a trip to Nantucket and visit the hydrangea farm called Nantucket Hydrangea in 86 Madaket Road, Nantucket Island, (508-228-2649, nantuckethydrangea.com) ! Give them a call to find out when will blooms be at their best shape this year.

Glyn Church recommends some of these mopheas: Blue Prince, Enziandom, Gen. Vioctomtesse de Vibraye, Marechal Foch and, of course, Nikko Blue. Some good lacecaps: Blaumeise, Blue Bird, Blue Deckle and Nightingale.

Some rebloomers to consider: Endless Summer, David Ramsey, Decatur Blue, Oak Hill, and Penny Mac. You can also checkout some of the blue lacecap mountain serrata hydrangeas to see if you like them as well. Other suggestions: Blue Billow, Little Geisha, Tokyo Delight.
