Hi I'm looking for a dwarf hydrangea I want to plant around the base of a maple - 2 - 3 ft max-- what varieties should I look for-- I'm in greensboro nc, zone 7a I think (could be b)--

Hydrangea Macrophylla Pia, also known as Pink Elf, could be a possibility. The Cityline and Lets Dance Series also might; Some of them are advertised as 2 or 3' tall but unfortunately they are kind of new so, they may be as tall as they say or they may turn out to be slow growers that eventually get big.
