Location for Hydrangea

I have moved to an acreage and want to plant all my potted Hydrangeas in the ground. In the old location they were on the east side shaded by trees so they got sun but shade early in the day. Now I want to plant them on the east side again but no shade until 2pm. It's near Dallas so the sun can get really hot. Also the septic is 9 foot from where I want to plant the Hydrangeas. How far do the roots extend. I don't need any problems with the septic system. I have pics but have never posted any on here. Any help would really be appreciated.
