Possibly not too late yet to get blues. I started using AS one spring (had beautiful pinks the years prior when I was trying sulfur as an acidifier) in May. By the second week of June I had a gorgeous blue Nikko with 70% blue flowers, 20% purple flowers, and only a few leftover pinks (closer to the sidewalk which is one big lime source). Good luck-- you should be able to at least get purples on the ones that are still just buds.

Use 1 1/2 tbsp. per gallon of water EVERYTIME you water and you will get at least "blurple"

LOL, Blurple. Thanks! That's good to hear -- the Nikko isn't anywhere near a sidewalk, so no lime intrusion. The ASB is a couple feet from one, but in our clay soil with spaghum on top, so maybe that'll change as well. The local nursery told me it would take about a year of monthly acidic treatments to take effect, so I'm happy to hear it could come sooner. Especially for my Masjas, which the first one opened up and it's pink, too (they are in containers, so easier to change, I bet).

When were they planted? It takes about 4 years for them to settle down to the color your soil's pH encourages.

Turns out I had "liquid sulfur" instead -- "Soil Sul" is the name of the product. Calls for 8tbs per gallon, so that's what I did this morning. I have no idea how to water the little guys in 6" pots without getting it on the leaves. Is that going to damage them, if the plants themselves got watered in the process? The ones in the ground, I just lifted up the foliage and did my best to only get the soil wet.
