I would give it more time. They tend to be late to emerge.

I agree- mine aren't showing much life yet here in Georgia, and the temperature's been in the high 70's to low 80's for two weeks straight now. They'll be out in a week or two, I'm sure.

Mines not doing anything yet either but the wood looks like its still alive so I gave it fert. to push it alittle.

Hi - I have 3 Oakleaf Hs - Alice in '07, Pee Wee & Snow Queen both in '08 - I have to encage them, wrapped w/landscaping fab simply due to their placement site ... they all are in the 'line of fire' for our wicked winds/blizzards in winter, Also dropped some pine needles loosely around. I just remove all these light protection this past week-end ... in a matter of few days of sun & unseasonably warm few days, those leaf buds on old woods are bursting open.

You might want to call the nursery where you purchased SQ & ask ... I hope you saved your receipt, just in case. Good Luck!

BTW '09 was a no bloom year for all 3 ... it was a very strange Spring! I hope for some this season ... it's a whole month of head-start we are enjoying in our zone!!! Â;)
