Greetings~

Not sure quite what to do here....please look at the pictures. I am afraid to prune the brown branches with what appears more 'buds'...are they going to open yet....given how the rest of the bush looks? I've tried to carefully move the buds to feel if they are pliable or just dead...some feel flexible but not really sure. Does anyone have any experience with this hydrangea and it's habit...last year at my home this was just full and gorgeous....
