Oh, interesting question. I thought Big Easy was one of the hydrangeas part of the Let's Dance Series. What have you found so far?

Both are mops and from the Lets Dance Series--roberts and Bremer are the names....

There is also a lacecap called Starlight (Lynn).

Additionally, Rhapsody Blue came out last year and Blue Jangles is coming out this year.

I got an RB for testing and it's blooming deep purple - very cool. :)

I saw Lets Dance's Big Easy recently and was not attracted enough to depart with my cash. I mean, it was 'okay' but did not scream 'buy me'.

What was your opinion of the other one?

BE rises to around 2.5' and gets a few peach-pink colored blooms. The leaf backs are also fuzzy, which I found interesting.

I just messed up my RB a bit since I planted it somewhere where rain runoff wasn't draining, and it began to droop. I since had to put it back in the pot, where most stems and leaves have now rebounded, but I might have to cut a few off. But I'll post back with pics of the deep purple blooms, which are extremely impressive.
