It is a new offering so it is not surprising that there is little out there. But as you said, it is another contender for the prize of who is better than Annabelle. Something to ponder... how the hedge would look with a compact hydrangea versus a larger one. That is, which size of plant in the hedge would you prefer?

Supposedly has a sturdier stem than Annabelle, and probably rises within a foot of its cousin. Most H. Arborescens grow to around 4'. If it's a healthy-looking plant, might as well try it. Around me, I've seen a couple floating around in 2-gallon pots for $30.
