Color Fantasy

Hi,

I have a small bare spot in my front bed that is shaded by a tree where I can fit a small shrub. I saw a hydrangea at one of our local nurseries called Color Fantasy that states it is for small spaces 30-36". Does anyone have any feedback on this one? I was also thinking of Mini Penny. This hydrangea would be placed next to Autumn Joy sedum. Do you think this would be a strange arrangement? All opinions/advise welcome :)

It is a new hydrangea from Novalis. No idea on its true hardiness and true eventual size after maturity. It could stay at 36" by year 10, especially places where the growing season is short. Not sure if it would behave the same way in warmer locales. I have not seen it locally so I cannot comment on the bloom color or bloom size. The leaves may turn a nice red color by Fall.
