what's eating Annabelle?

I have some kind of pest on my one-year-old Annabelle. It "glues" together two emerging leaves so they make a pocket, and then makes a web in the middle. I didn't examine the web too closely but I assume it's some kind of caterpillar. There are maybe 8-10 affected leaf pairs and the rest of the plant looks fine right now. Any idea what this is, and what I should do other than remove the leaves?

Something's wrong with my camera, so I can't include a photo right now, but if it would help I can get a cell phone picture tomorrow.

I haven't had that happen with Annabelle, but it has on other kinds of plants. I just pluck off the leaf and toss it.

Google "leaf tier" and see if that's what's bothering your hydrangeas.

lalala, I am with Kate here - it happened to another plant (was it my Snow Mountain Tree hydrangea? I cannot remember) last year. I simply just plucked off the leaves too and there was no harm done to the plant.
