I just planted a new mini penny hydrangea (straight from the nursery) about two weeks ago, but realized that I have planted it too closely to another plant. The other plant is also a new shrub which will eventually grow 4 to 5 feet wide/high. The mini penny plant itself is relatively small at a growth of 4 to 4 feet wide/high at max, maybe less. Would it be safe to replant it now after two weeks in the ground, or would it be wiser to wait for the plant to become dormant and replant it elsewhere or further away from its current position in November? Please advise!! Thank you :-)
