That is fine if you mean during the summer time. The sun is now not so strong and the leaves probably could withstand even more sun. But it is the summer sun that you have to watch out for. If they get too much sun during the summer, the leaves in direct contact with the sun will turn all yellow or whiteish, including the leaf veins. If the leaf veins remain dark then that means the soil is too alkaline and should be acidified by adding Garden Sulphur, green sand, iron-chelated liquid compounds, iron sulfate, aluminum sulfate, etc.
