Mine are just starting to leaf out this year. Usually BB Pink Diamond and QF are the first . This year its ES and Pinky Winky. It will be interesting to see who blooms first.

I guess Mama Nature truly rules & we'll never really fathom completely! I went back to my 2010 journal/bloom-bud entries for Hs ~ none lined up exactly, except that QF was always first 3 years in a row!

Of my roses KO Rainbow is always first to flash ~ a week late for all this season!

That's great! I should go check mine. I did notice last night that the ES I transplanted last month is putting out buds. Yay!!!

Quick Fire opened her clusters on Fathers' Day ~ hooray! All but 3 of my 13 H paniculatas have produced tiny cauli-flower clusters in different stages. A few would have produced sooner if it were not for the damaging hail days 2 weeks ago that broke many young tips!

Princess Kyu-tree has a bird's nest again this season!

Vanilla Strawberry has the reddest canes of all the H paniculatas I have!

2 baby Tardivas I harvested & potted last week ~ must have grown from seeds, they had their own root systems!

Great Star - the new kid in the block has cluster buds - excited to see her blooms!
