I think I planted my mailorder peewee in 2003. It's gorgeous this year with tons of blooms. It's been a fairly nice size for 2 maybe 3 years if my memory serves me correctly. I did move it once also. I'll try to post a pic sometime. Good luck, but be patient!

Here's my pee wee. I love the size!

WOW Pee Wee looks wonderful - I lost mine just after I was able to save him from a disastrous center breakage from a Winter of 36" snow piled up on him. He was so alive & put out beautiful clusters ~ it was his second season ~ sigh!

It wasn't the breakage that caused his demise, he mended well. It was the wet feet from the down spout - as he was at the bottom of a slope ~ Oakleaf Hs hate wet feet!

My Alice is indeed getting huge (planted in '07) My Snow Queen is staying manageable as far as spread but perhaps will be tall. She was a victim of bunny muncher as a 1 gal planted in '08. Now just 3 ft tall & has tons of new branches at the base & known for more up-right growth habit than Alice.
