Planted hydrangea outdoors about a month ago...

It had blue flowers on it, and I clipped them when they all turned brown, so now there are just stems. The leaves are mostly brown, but it looks as though the hydrangea is doing o.k. Shouldn't I cut the leaves where the brown areas are? I'm hoping that this plant revives. For some reason, I looked at it the other day, and it seemed "stronger and straighter"...maybe it's just me. But sometimes the sun, will sway a plant better upright.

Any suggestions, would be appreciated. Also I have planted an Easter Lily outside, but it has done absolutely nothing. Hasn't died, but the leaves on parts of it are just a little yellow. Other than that, it is all green. I don't think it was supposed to be planted outside.

Any suggestions as to what to do with the Easter Lily, would also be appreciated.
