We moved into our current house in March 2013 and inherited these beautiful hydrangea, which I think are limelights. This is what they looked like last summer (see next post).

In the late fall, we cut them waaaaay down to about 2 feet tall, which is how they looked when we moved in. Was that a mistake? They seem a little bit slow to bloom this year, but we did have a colder winter than usual.

Are these little bits the start of a bloom? I hope so?
