I pruned my hydrangeas because I'm dumb...

I moved into a new house last year and the hydrangeas needed to be cut because there were all intertwined with holly bushes and needed to be moved... So, like an idiot I cut them back to about 8"... Now they are big bushes with tons of foliage but no blooms- will the blooms be back next year or am I doomed?

Yes they will be back as long as you do not prune them again this year. Hydrangeas begin developing flower buds in the South in July and a little later in the northern states.

However, if these are rebloomers, you may get one more set of blooms before the end of the year.
