Quick Fire Hydrangea

I saw one of these at the nursery today and love the flowers (more of an airy look). I don't want an 8 foot shrub in the spot where I want to put it. Is there any way to keep it smaller? If not is there an easy hydrangea with the airy looking flowers that's about 4 or 5 feet that you would recommend?

Look for 'Little Quickfire', a dwarf or more compact form of the regular. Maybe gets to about 5' in time without pruning.

I was going to say "little quickfire" as well. I haven't found one yet but I'm holding spots for some. That being said, I already have 7 regular quickfire and I LOVE them.

I've had mine for 4 years and it hasn't gone past 5 feet yet. You probably wouldn't have any trouble keeping it pruned in such a manner. Mine's got at least 100 flowers on it this year, couldn't be happier!
