| I am seeing flowers buds on new growth from my cityline paris. However, most of the old stems didn't grow leaves. What I will do next year is cut them to ground. :) |

| You might want to keep an open mind, or wait and see on your Cityline. I don't grow any of that series, but I don't find anything in their promotional descriptions that leads me to think they regularly bloom on new wood - more than one nursery selling them suggests pruning in July after June blooms but rarely as their size doesn't warrant regular pruning. Yours hasn't been in the ground long enough to be called established has it? Why am I thinking it wintered in your garage and was planted recently....along with some other Fall sale purchases? |
