first year limelight

this too has only been in the garden about 3 weeks. its leaves seem very small to me too, but I do see they are getting bigger. this too is going to bloom. some of the leaves are yellowing....I hope this is normal. please notice the small one in the ground in back of this one. this is a hydrangea that I grew from a cutting from my dils garden two years ago...I don't remember its name. It has red stems....

It will be interesting to see how it actually blooms. I associate red stems with Vanilla Strawberry, a paniculata hydrangea, but maybe there are others that also have red stems.

As to the yellow leaves, my guess is that it needs more water -- more often and at regular intervals. As a new transplant, it may need a couple months before it really settles in and gets a good root system going.

Show us some pics when it finally blooms--OK?
