ID on this hydrangea?

I purchased this nameless hydrangea at a local hardware store. It suffered a bit of shock in the transition to outdoor living (but is putting on lots of new leaves now). I cut off a number of the blooms, but they were originally the lovely white with purple/blue in the center of the flower as seen on the left (the eyes are also blue). The flowers that bloomed after I took it home were only green turning to cream.

It doesn't seem to be quite a mophead--it has a smaller and more upright "head", and it has blue fertile flowers/buds in the center--but not as many as I see on traditional lacecaps. But, it seems to have more infertile flowers than a regular lacecap.

Any ideas?
