Need to temporarily transplant Endless Summer Hydrangea

It is late June in CT and I am about to embark on an addition to the back of my home. I need to move a healthy 3-4 year old E.S. Hydrangea before the backhoe does it for me.

I may ultimately want to plant the hydrangea around the new deck that will be built, but those beds won't be ready until Fall at the earliest.

So, my questions are:

1. Should I transplant this elsewhere and then move it again when the new beds are ready several months from now? (I have a few semi-shady spots that might be safe, and also might make good permanent homes should I choose to avoid a second move.)

2. Can I transplant to a large pot and have any hope of success?

Any other tips for successful transplanting and relocation are much appreciated!

Thank you.
