How long will it take the baby plant to produce flowers. I got a baby from my forever pink hydrangea about two years ago, but no blooms yet. Granted the little thing is less that a foot tall.

Luis thank you for link - I've been reading up & guided by different methods from M.Dirr and Lawson-Hall & Rothera ... yet another reassurance from this link, I'm trying both cuttings & ground/self layering. As easy as everyone claims, rooting Hydrangeas, I should be able to count on succeeding.

I lost the arbor protecting Nikko from summer sun (from a Tornado that passed thru last Fall). I erected a temp one w/ just 8ft' stakes & garden fencing for Swt Autumn Clem to climb over ... as notorious a climber as SA-Clem is - not this season ... I'm getting tired of covering up with garden fab for the 4 hrs of scorching sun - relocation is the only recourse. Every expert I consulted, advised not to dig up a 19y/o Nikko ... surely a death warrant! I'll do it anyway, just to see if I can save a piece (but only after rooting efforts succeed)! I have a 'Lime Light' waiting on the side for the sunny site!

I've succeeded in rooting Lavenders by just pinning stems to the ground & covering with bricks ... should work with Nikko too!
