Hydrqangeas aren't blooming

Recently we did some landscaping and put black mulch around all our plants. My hydrangeas have been in this location 3 years & put out pink flowers. We also cut down a tree and the plants get a lot more sun & appear to be much heartier (2x/the size also). They get lots of water & look good. But we have no blooms this year.
My lime hydrangeas have the same oil around them and they are all blooming. Too much sun? Any ideas?

The bad winter has set back that kind of Hydrangea. The Limelight Hydrangea is a paniculata which is not effected by the winter so much.
